School Counseling & Special Education Staff Training for Individuals
March – April 2025
Our 20-hour (with CEUs) program for school staff is now available for individual participants!
Are you interested in learning more about DBT STEPS-A, the curriculum used within Middle Schools and High Schools to teach DBT skills to students at all tiers of need?
The DBT STEPS-A skills can be used within group skills classes as well as taught individually.
Over the past five years, DBT has been adapted for use in schools. The program is called DBT STEPS-A. School counselors and teachers across the country are being trained to provide this psycho-educational skill program to their students.
Our 20-hour training includes the following:
- 6-hour in person workshop in Newmarket NH to kick off the training!
- 8 hours of online workshops
- 6 hours of online coaching workshops to reinforce skill use within the school setting
Training Dates
- In-PersonTraining: March 6th 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Newmarket, NH
- 2-Hour Online Workshops: March 13th, 20th, 27th and April 3rd; 8:00 am – 10:00 am
- 2-Hour Online Implementation and Coaching Workshops: April 17th, May 8th and 22nd; 8:00 am – 10:00 am
NOTE: This is a hybrid series, including an initial 6-hour day in person, and all 2-hour follow up sessions on Zoom.
Cost: $1,000/participant.
CEUs: 20 CEUs are offered for this training.
Workshop Expectations: For all online sessions, please be prepared to be interactive! Cameras must be on to facilitation participation in exercises and group conversation.
